I have no intention of pass-wording the blog. I just want to have freedom to post what is needed without worrying about hurting peoples feelings. My issues is that when I go back and read some of the posts some can be construed as not caring or making light of the situation. ie this post:

Tracey is not having a good day. She told me this morning that she feels BAD. I asked her for details but she said she doesn't know she just feels bad. I also asked her if she wants me to call the Doctor and she said no.

she now has 1 bird, 1 duck, 2 cats (other then big and little), 1 seal, and "little people" in her room. I asked if she was frightened and she said no.

  2. It's interesting but not surprising, Brandon, that Tracey has animals surrounding her in her room. She's always been a wonderful animal lover and who better to comfort her at this time in her life that those creatures that only know unconditional love? I hope she is taking comfort in them being with her.

  3. Brandon,

My heart is breaking for you, Tracey and Bella. If only positive thoughts and love could heal, Tracey would be fully with us.

I am one of Tracey's family members from The Wellness Community and, I can't begin to express my gratitude of your continuous updates. I speak for all us from from "group", that we miss and love Tracey with all our energy. You, by no means, have offended me or others from TWC. You are being truthful about what cancer does to people - it's not pretty. In fact, it's unfair, degading and painful for all involved - especially the immediate family. Please do not spend any time feeling as though you must apologize or second-guess your updates. You do as you feel is right for that is all that matters. You are such an inspiration and example of the goodness in mankind.

Again, speaking for all of us in group, we are ready and willing to help in any way we can. Please, if/when you need us, reach out - we're here.

With all my love, respect and sorrow,

    Sarah

  4. Brandon,
My heart breaks for you, Bella, and Tracey. I know how painful this is for you, first hand, since watching my Mother pass away from this awful disease. She also saw animals and was an animal lover like Tracey. I am so very proud to be your cousin, you are such a caring and remarkable man. I am here for you always,......

    Love you,

    Krissy

  5. Brandon,

Love is being sent your way as often as possible. Accept nothing else.
You have been amazing and wonderful and everyone fully supports you.
We pray for you, we send good energy, we agonize for you, we worry about you. You are an exceptional human being and an even better husband and father. I don't know of another man that would be better suited for this role.
